The Ontario Masters Racing Team (OMRT) scraped off some rust during their first clinic conducted by David Wright May 8 and 9.
The first day was unsailable, but on the second day, the wind came up from the north and provided some serious sailing beyond the spit in Lake Ontario. Team coach Evan Lewis took over from there and put the boys through their paces on a Monday night training session this week.
The Team will be well represented at the RCYC regatta this weekend, with last year's Radial winner Nigel Heath coming back to show the kids how it's done.
