If you don't know who John Bertrand is, you need to keep the name in mind as your Laser sailing progresses in Masters or Open fleets.
He is regarded as one of the most successful sailors in American history with campaigns in the America's Cup, Etchells and Lasers (a long time ago.) He is back in the Laser Masters fleet and showing incredible talent at the Mids right now. Not only that, he is writing some very interesting, cogent blogs about the event.
