There is a strong contingent of Canadian sailors at this year's Delta Lloyd regatta being held in Medemblik, Holland over the next week. Representing D3 is Paul Brikis, Chris Dold, Lee Parkhill and I in full rig and Claire Merry in the radial.
The D3 team arrived on Friday and started training Saturday. The breeze was light to moderate throughout the training, kicking up choppy waves. Combined that with the shifty conditions and the sailing has been pretty tricky. But, we have been training with some of the worlds best sailors to get ready for the regatta, which starts Wednesday, so that's been exciting. And the good news is that the breeze is suppose to be strong for the regatta.
